About Me
Apparently, I've always been this way.
And always, always cheering for people.
I didn't know as a kid that any of that could become a career. But here we are.
I've spent my life teaching, leading, connecting people, asking questions, seeing possibilities, and helping good ideas become something more.
My career started in K–12 education, where I taught and eventually moved into leadership. Later, I led a nonprofit. Along the way, I earned a doctorate in leadership because apparently I wasn't finished asking questions about why people and organizations do what they do.
Eventually, people started asking me to come into their rooms.
- Speak to us.
- Facilitate this.
- Help us figure this out.
- Get these people working together.
At first, I thought they were asking because I was comfortable with a microphone. Turns out, that wasn't really it.
I'm good at seeing what's possible—and helping other people see it, too. I notice connections. I ask a lot of questions. I can usually find a path forward when everyone else is staring at the obstacle.
And I'm willing to say the thing that needs saying—with kindness, and usually a little humor.
